Despite an 11-day vaccination campaign against corona in all 13 districts of the state, 19.7 percent of the target group has not yet been vaccinated.<\/p>\n<p>In the first phase, 63,308 out of the total 78,837 target groups have benefited from the vaccine, said Ramesh Adhikari, Director of Health, Bagmati. He also said that the first phase of vaccination campaign in Bagmati province is almost over.<\/p>\n<p>Garbage collectors and drivers assigned to waste management, drivers and co-drivers of ambulances and hearses, security personnel and volunteers deployed at vaccination centers, persons directly assigned to body management, women health volunteers, security personnel and staff deployed at international entry points, persons in old age homes and care personnel, Prisoners and security personnel and other health workers were placed in the target group in the first phase.<\/p>\n<p>Of those vaccinated, 345 had a general fever and three were seriously ill, according to the directorate. The Director General said that there is no danger due to vaccination as the health of those who are suffering from general and serious illness has improved.<\/p>\n<p>In a conversation with Tu Khabar, he said that necessary coordination is being made with the concerned agencies through the Ministry of Social Development about the second phase of vaccination program and we will come to know about the decision soon.<\/p>\n<p><strong>0.67 percent lost their lives<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to Dr Purushottam Raj Sedhai, spokesperson of the Ministry of Social Development, 0.67 percent or 997 people have lost their lives due to corona virus Covid-19 in Bagmati.<\/p>\n<p>Out of the infected patients, 1.02 percent or 1,520 are currently being treated while the remaining 98.32 percent or 147,086 have been recovered from the infection. A total of 149,563 people were confirmed Corona Positive.
