Makawanpur<\/strong>: – Food assistance has been provided to ‘Mama Ghar Nepal’ on the occasion of the 23rd foundation day of ‘Divyatara Multipurpose Cooperative Society Limited’ and the 11th anniversary of Radio Makwanpur run by Divyatara.<\/p>\n

On the third day of the week-long program organized on the occasion of the establishment day of the cooperative and the anniversary of the radio, food aid was provided to ‘Mama Ghar Nepal’.<\/p>\n

The organization, which has been rescuing, protecting, nurturing and caring for street children, has been provided with 6 bags of rice, noodles, oil, sugar and others edible items.<\/p>\n

Chairman of the ‘Board of Directors of Radio Makwanpur’ Anandaram Parajuli, Treasurer of Divyatara Cooperative Ishwar Pandit, Station Manager of the Radio Ganesh Darpan Adhikari and others handed over food items to Arpan Parajuli, Patron of ‘Mama Ghar Nepal’.<\/p>\n

According to Arpan Parajuli, Mama Ghar has rescued and protected 183 street childre and reunited 131 of them with their families.<\/p>\n

At present, there are 25 people in the organization. Out of which 4 children have already played for the national hockey team.<\/p>\n

“Some are continuing their studies while others are working in electronics and plumbing,” said Parajuli. “Along with their studies, they are also working on skill development.” He said that he is happy to be able to serve from the organization’s own building.<\/p>\n

Chairman of Radio Makwanpur Anandaram Parajuli said that everyone’s support is needed for the social working organization. “The support given to such organizations will be a real help,” he said, adding that “Parajuli has set an example that a person can do a great job in society if he wants to do.”<\/p>\n

The ceremony was hosted by Madhav Neupane, Senior Vice President of Makwanpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Praising the work done by Mama Ghar Nepal, he said that he was always ready to help.
