Makawanpur<\/strong>. The sixth edition of the Veterans Cup 8 ‘A’ football game has started from today and mayor of Hetauda Sub-metropolis Hari Bahadur Mahat inaugurated the game.<\/p>\n

Inaugurating the cup, Mayor Mahat said that the activities of the Veterans Club would play a big role in the sports field. He also said that there will always be support in the competition organized by the Veterans Club on behalf of the sub-metropolis.<\/p>\n

Welcoming the inaugural function presided over by Club Vice President Nabaraj Bajracharya, program coordinator Kabin Sangami said that the final game of the competition would be played on 10 of Magh.<\/p>\n

He said that the competition was organized to make the sports field active and informed that 20 teams have participated in the competition this year.<\/p>\n

The first match of the competition was played between Hetauda Ventrans and Kolvi Vetrans today.<\/p>\n

The organizing team has made a victorious start in the first match played today. In the match played at Hupra, Hetauda, \u200b\u200bthe organizing team defeated Kolvi Vetrans 6-1 and started their’s first win.<\/p>\n

Pardeshi Chaudhary scored a consolation goal for Kolvi while Krishna Malakar scored four goals for Hetauda Vetrans while Bal Kumar Gurug and Nimalama scored one goal each.<\/p>\n

Krishna Malakar was declared the man of the match. The game was played for 20 minutes and 40 minutes.<\/p>\n

Similarly, Delhi Bazaar Veterans Kathmandu defeated Pashupati Veterans Hetauda 1-0 in the second match of the day.<\/p>\n

Ujwal Shrestha scored for Dilli Bazaar which was decisive for the victory. He has also been declared the man of the match.<\/p>\n

Similarly, Jorpati Veterans defeated Chitwan Veterans 1-0 in the third match of the day. The only goal for Jorpati was scored by Deepak Lama. Man of the match of the competition is Deepak Lama of Jorpati.<\/p>\n

In today’s fourth and final match, Futsal Veterans defeated Hetauda and Birgunj Youth Academy 1-0. Santosh Shrestha scored the only decisive goal for Futsal Hetauda. Man of the match is Ritu Shakya of Birgunj Youth.<\/p>\n

The winner of the sixth edition of the competition will receive a certificate, shield and cash of Rs 111,111, while the runner-up will receive Rs 51,111 in cash.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
