Makawanpur: –<\/strong>\u00a0Bishnu Prasad Prasai, state chief of Bagmati, said entrepreneurs should be able to make the nation self-reliant and compete in the international market by producing quality products.<\/p>\n

Addressing the interaction program of the EU Skills Project in partnership with Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Confederation of Nepalese Industries, Federation of Home and Small Industries, Hotel Association of Nepal and Federation of Construction Entrepreneurs of Nepal, he said the federal government and state governments should provide physical assistance and should move ahead evaluating the acts according to the time and situation.<\/p>\n

On the occasion, Chief of Hetauda Sub-metropolis Hari Bahadur Mahat expressed confidence that the sub-metropolis would provide constructive assistance to the entrepreneurs to set up industries by mobilizing resources at different stages.<\/p>\n

Speaking on the occasion, Chandrakant Adhikari, Program Coordinator of the project, said that the objective of the employers’ unions is to establish a strong structure to conduct labor market information related programs in a coordinated manner as per the demand of the labor market under ‘Alkas Project’.<\/p>\n

He mentioned that the project will carry out major tasks including developing national professional classification criteria, developing labor market information system, formulating policies and programs related to technical education and vocational training and developing skilled manpower as per the requirement of employers.<\/p>\n

The project is expected to work in the fields of agriculture, construction, tourism as well as others and the cost of the project is Rs 18 Crore informed Madhav Neupan, senior vice-president of the Makwanpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry also he said that poverty would be alleviated by operating a medium-sized industry in the state capital Hetauda and enacting rules and regulations for the entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n
