Makawanpur<\/strong>. Chief of the District Coordination Committee (DCC) Makawanpur Raghunath Khulal said that it is time for the local level to evaluate whether the work has been done as per the target or not. In the monitoring and review program of the progress made in the first four months of the current fiscal year in Manahari village of the district on Sunday, he suggested the local level to evaluate whether the work has been done as per the target set by him.<\/p>\n

Chief Khulal said that development cannot be seen only by allocating money, adding that attention should be paid to work by setting goals and documenting them systematically.<\/p>\n

Chief Khulal said that the locals have not been able to work in complete confidence due to various reasons and added that the problems are being solved gradually. He requested to continue the work in spite of being some problems in the implementation phase of federalism as the local levels are doing a lot of work.<\/p>\n

Chief Khulal stressed that the localities should work with practical policies and strong implementation. He said that it was necessary to focus on implementation rather than formulating a strong policy only on paper.<\/p>\n

Stating that prosperity can be achieved only through the joint initiative of the people’s representatives and the employees, he urged them to coordinate in every way. He said that Manahari Village municipality has a district village municipality from other localities of Makawanpur and urged to plan accordingly.<\/p>\n

Chairman of Manahri Gaupalika Ekraj Upreti said that the work has been done by setting the overall target. According to him, the municipality has a set a budget of Rs. 78 Crores and 38 Lakhs among which 11% have already been spent on the development work.<\/p>\n

Out of the total 180 schemes, estimates have been prepared by Mid-Kartik, work has been done in the first four months including formation of consumers committee and 24 schemes have been signed and 10 schemes have been paid.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
