On the occasion of the ninth Memorial Day of Journalist Vijay Babu Khatri, Laxmi Shrestha, Chairperson of Nepal News Center, announced the decision to award to the late Journalist with the &#8216;Vijay Babu Memorial Award&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>A three-member Committee comprising FNJ president Govinda Acharya, Press Council member Sangeeta Khadka and Online Magazine News Karobar editor DR Acharya selected Gautam for the award.<\/p>\n<p>The prize will be given from the Retirement Fund established in December, 2075 with amount of Rs.34,000. Gautam,31, of Chhatiwan in Makawanpur was working Kantipur. He died 10 days ago on Mangsir-4.
