Police have arrested a teacher with an automatic pistol from Birgunj last night. Police have arrested Jitendra Prasad Singh, a resident of Balara Municipality-10 of Sarlahi District, working as a lecturer at Thakurram Campus with illegal weapons from his private residence at Birgunj- Wada No. 11 Durgatol.<\/p>\n
According to ManjitKunwar, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office Parsa, a pistol was found hidden in a safe box of a drawer during a search of Singh’s house in Durgatol on the basis of Special information.<\/p>\n
He said Police found a pistol magazine, four unexploded ordnance and a bottle of anesthetic ether from the cupboard.<\/p>\n
